We are consumed by image and what people think of us

By Annie Johnson

After watching the TV show “Black Mirror,” I was sitting in the class auditorium shocked. I say shocked because I had never thought about society and social media in that way before, and to see it portrayed on a show really freaked me out, honestly.

I believe this episode is something everyone should see. It shows how we are so consumed by our image and what other people think about us, that we are allowing ourselves to put aside our own happiness and well-being, just to make the people around us enjoy our presence.
